Pericles obtained a First class HND Diploma in Civil Engineering from the Higher Technical Institute (1988-1991), and then was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Cyprus University of Technology (2009-2013) with a Grade of Excellent.

He is a member of the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ΕΤΕΚ) as a Civil Engineer and an approved Mediator in Commercial Matters (registered under the Law No. 159(I) of 2012). He is also certified for Qualified Experts Issuing Energy Efficiency Certificates for Homes.

He has worked as a Quantity Surveyor for the Tender & Estimating Department of G.P. ZACHARIADES LTD (overseas) from 1994 – 2004 , on a variety of prestigious projects in Bahrain and the UAE .
